An update on our infrastructure
Until recently this platform ran on Hetzner's infrastructure. The hardware and the network were excellent, and we said so at the time.
What made us leave was not the hardware but the support. In July 2026 our management account was blocked for two weeks on a suspicion of unauthorised access that was never substantiated. We completed the identity verification they requested and it was accepted, yet access was not restored. One case ran across four separate tickets, a formal complaint was never escalated, and by phone we waited without ever reaching anyone who addressed the block itself.
For a hosting provider that is disqualifying: we cannot promise you availability on infrastructure we ourselves cannot reach. We have therefore moved to our own servers, still within the European Union, with daily backups and no third party able to lock us out. It delayed our launch by a few weeks, and we said so plainly rather than quietly move the date.
