Author Agreement

This Agreement governs the relationship between authors (“you”) who publish or sell content through the Technovize Publisher and Technovize (“we”, “us”). By publishing a book you accept this Agreement in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Your content, your copyright

You retain all copyright in the works you upload. You grant Technovize a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to host, display, format, distribute, and sell your work through the platform and platform-compatible export channels, solely to operate the service.

This licence ends when you remove the work, except for copies already delivered to buyers and records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

2. Your warranties

You confirm that:

• the work is yours or you have all rights needed to publish and sell it;
• it does not infringe any third party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
• it is not unlawful, defamatory, or in breach of our Acceptable Use rules.

You indemnify Technovize against claims arising from a breach of these warranties.

3. Pricing and royalties

• You set the retail price of your work within the platform’s allowed range.
• Revenue is split per your account tier at the time of each sale. The split that applied to a sale is frozen onto that sale’s record and is not changed retroactively by later tier changes.
• We deduct payment-processing fees and applicable taxes before computing your share, as shown in your sales dashboard.

4. Payouts

Payouts are made to your connected Stripe account once it is verified and the minimum threshold is met. You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout and tax details. Payouts may be withheld where fraud or a rights dispute is reasonably suspected, pending resolution.

5. Taxes

You are responsible for declaring and paying any income or other taxes due on your earnings in your jurisdiction.

6. Content removal

We may remove content that breaches this Agreement, the law, or a valid takedown notice. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

7. Termination

You may stop publishing at any time. We may suspend or terminate author access for breach. Sections on copyright, warranties, indemnity, and already-completed sales survive termination.
