T Technovize

Publish a technical book

Write in Markdown, including your code. We turn it into a syntax-highlighted PDF and a reflowable EPUB, give you a storefront to sell from, and a bundle you can upload to the big marketplaces yourself.

  • Code blocks that survive the export
  • PDF and EPUB from one source
  • Your own storefront
  • No lock-in — take it to KDP too

Built for books with code in them

A word processor breaks the moment your book contains a command line. Indentation shifts, quotation marks curl into something that no longer runs, and a code block splits across a page in the middle of a function.

Highlighted code in the PDF

Add a language after the opening fence — python, javascript, bash, sql — and the code comes out highlighted, with your indentation and your quotation marks intact.

One source, two formats

The PDF and the EPUB are generated from the same Markdown every time. They cannot drift apart, because there is nothing to keep in sync by hand.

One typographic style

No fonts, colours or columns to choose. That is deliberate: e-readers ignore most of it anyway, and a consistent book reads better than a decorated one.

Images without a detour

Paste a screenshot straight from your clipboard or drop the file on the editor. We resize it, store it and write the Markdown for you. No image host to arrange.

From first chapter to first sale

  1. 1

    Write

A Markdown editor with a live preview beside it. It saves by itself while you type and keeps earlier versions, so a bad afternoon is never lost work.

  2. 2

    Export

One click produces the PDF and the EPUB. Edit a chapter afterwards and the platform refuses to publish until you regenerate — so no buyer ever downloads the version with the typo still in it.

  3. 3

    Give away a taste

Mark chapters as a free sample and we build a separate sample PDF. Readers can try before they buy without you maintaining a second file.

  4. 4

    Publish

A book moves from draft to a link-only version to public. You can unpublish at any time; existing buyers keep their downloads.

  5. 5

    Sell

A fixed price, or pay-what-you-want above a minimum you set. Payment runs through Stripe, VAT is calculated for you, and every sale appears in your dashboard.

What a buyer receives

A link that belongs to them

Each buyer gets their own download link by email. Links expire after a short window, and a refund revokes access straight away.

A copy with their name on it

The PDF carries the buyer's email address on every page. It does not stop copying, but it makes an anonymous leak considerably less likely.

A readable EPUB

Reflowable, with a table of contents built from your chapters, so it works on a phone as well as an e-reader.

Not locked in

A bundle for the marketplaces

Download a package and upload it yourself to Amazon KDP, Kobo or Apple Books. Selling here does not stop you selling there.

An ISBN, if you want one

Publish without one, paste in an ISBN you already own — we check the digits — or order one through us for €59 excluding VAT.

What it costs

Nothing up front. We take a share of what you sell, and you keep the rest.

Frequently asked questions

How do code samples come out?

Fenced code blocks with a language hint get syntax highlighting in the PDF, and stay readable in the EPUB. This is the part most general publishing tools get wrong, and the reason this platform exists.

Which formats do I get?

A PDF laid out in A5 with a title page, justified text and hyphenation, and a reflowable EPUB with an automatic table of contents. Both are regenerated from the same Markdown, so they can never disagree.

Can I sell it on Amazon as well?

Yes. Alongside your own storefront you get a marketplace bundle to upload yourself to KDP, Kobo and Apple Books. Your book is not locked to this platform.

Do I need an ISBN?

Not for a free or self-distributed book. If you want one, paste your own — we validate the check digit — or order one through us.

How much do I keep?

On the free plan the author keeps 85% of each sale. On Pro the author keeps 90% and the two-book limit is lifted.

How are buyers stopped from sharing the file?

Each buyer gets a download link tied to them, and the PDF is stamped with their email address on every page. Links expire, and a refund revokes access immediately.

Your first chapter is the hard part

The rest — layout, formats, payment, VAT, delivery — is ours. Creating an author profile is free and takes a minute.
